I have worked quite a bit with Microsoft Server the past weeks, mostly Server 2008 and the thing I wondering is, while Active Directory, DNS and a lot of others services run smoothly together in the network the DHCP server is very individual.
- You can not administer all DHCP scopes from one sentral server and replicate it out to your different sites.
- You can not have to replicated DHCP servers in the same scope for fail-over.
This is basics in all the others Microsoft Servers services, I miss this, it would make networks so much easier to administer.
So way not?
